Wednesday April 16th at 6:00pm will be our next general meeting, located at 124 W. Broad St. W. Hazleton, PA. ( W. Hazleton Borough Office Annex Building ) . MEETING IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND WE ENCOURAGE ANYONE INTERESTED IN RACING OR HELPING OUT AT OUR TRACK TO ATTEND!

The small registration trailer has been moved and the big trailer has been put in it's place. It will now been used for registration and concession. Thank you Dave and Frank!!!!!!
A week ago, Tom from Hayden electric met us at the track to measure for electric to new trailer, starting hill and announcers tower. I should hear from them soon re: estimate and what they can do to make it happen.
I have been contacting some area business for financial help to supplement the funding from the NBL for resurfacing and asphalt. I also received a packet from the Chamber Of Commerce to contact area Civic Organizations to solicite sponsorship. We need $1500.00 to $2000.00 to make it ALL happen. Your help in solicitating would be appreciated!!!!!!
This coming weekend, April 5th and 6th ( Sat. and Sun.) we will have a work weekend at the track. We will be cleaning up the trailer, building shelves and counter space, etc. . Also, I have acquired materials for a platform to be used by the gate starter and plan to build that.
If we get enough help, we could do it all on Sat.. If not, we'll be there Sun., also.
Please tell some people, bring some people, tools, cleaning supplies etc..
I have two bike safety demonstrations scheduled for April. I will also be handing out brochures, flyers,etc. for the track. Yesterday, we went to the Central Jersey BMX race in Howell, N J , and handed out flyers for our open house and race schedule. They also announced it over the PA all day. We are now listed as a link on the N J website. www.njbmx.org
Our next meeting is on April 16th at 6pm.( same location ) Please tell some people and try to attend.

I put in a call regarding clay and am waiting for a response. Dave is checking on asphalt.
